Did anyone use Bella Baby Photography for newborn photos at Beaumont? We just had our hospital tour (Royal Oak) this past weekend and saw their brochure.  The photos on the website looked pretty nice, although I'm sure the quality varies based on the photographer you receive.  I like the idea of having some nicer photos taken and getting them on CD to print or use for announcements.  Wondering how many photos you typically receive from a shoot?  If anyone did this, please let me know if you thought it was worth it.  Thanks!

    They came in and took the pictures and then set up a slide show on the laptop and left us to talk about if we wanted to purchase or not. There was no pressure, so it doesn't hurt to have them take the pictures and then you can decide if you want them or not. There were about 30 or so pictures on our CD. I thought it was definitely worth it, mostly because we got some good pictures and I didn't even have to get out of the hospital bed.     I thought it was SO worth it!!  We were planning on having an at-home newborn shoot with Emily Dowd...until DD was born 6 weeks early and spent two weeks in the NICU. Then I was all about convenience:)  We loved our pictures, and I loved the fact that I didn't have to worry about cleaning our house (or finishing the nursey, haha!).  We bought the CD, and if I remember correctly, it was about $130 shipped.  We used two of the pics for our announcement.

    Thanks ladies!  The photos I've seen all look pretty nice.  I like that you can choose to buy after seeing them. 

    Jenny, I don't think we're FB friends :(  And I had no idea your daughter was born 6 weeks early...oh my gosh!!  I'm due in 2 weeks and really hoping he stays put until then.  According to his latest measurement, he has a little plumping up to do!

    I'm assuming you are talking to me?  :) I made the hats and brought them along with the blanket, but they had the basket and posed him.  We are happy with how they turned out.

    we used them too and loved them! Our baby was in the NICU for 10 weeks and I was so happy to be able to have professional photos to capture that time.
