Finding a BWing group

How do you find a BWing group? I live in the Chicago suburbs, but I'd prefer to avoid the city. I don't know any other moms around here and I'd love to find a group. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think tabithagoins can help you, I'm not exactly sure what area she is in but she is a leader of a group (I believe)

I'm one of the co-leaders of the Lake County Babywearers.  We meet in Mundelein and Grayslake.  It's a bit of a drive for you coming from Naperville though, it's well worth it though  Let me know if you're interested I can give you our blog and website info.  We do have a really large event coming up for International Babywearing Week.  We are holding an event on Sunday October 10th from 12:30 to 2:30 at the Little Gym in Gurnee..we'll be teaching, having people try out different carriers and we are raffling off a Sakura Bloom, a Pikkolo and a couple other items.  It should be a blast.

There used to be the Dupage group, but I believe they aren't doing any meetings anymore.  If driving up to the North suburbs is too far, if you're ever interested I'm always up for a playdate at the park and can bring different carriers for you to try out. I'm in Woodstock (nw burbs) so a bit closer and we could always meet somewhere in between.

I'd definitely be interested in the group. I don't necessarily mind the drive, I just hate driving into the city so I'd like to avoid Chicago. I'm not sure yet about the 10th, but I'd certainly like to try to make it!
