What do you think and is the spelling ok? Evie for short.  I'll use both.  DD is Abbigail and I interchange it with Abby pretty much 50/50.  I don't know why but I like doing that.  Also mn help please, I'd like a one syllable mn.  TIA!

This was our girl name.  I love that it is classic and not overused (yet).  I think it is gaining in popularity.  It goes beautifully with Abbigail.  That is the spelling I would choose.  We were going to use Evie too.  Will you pronounce it  (eh vee )?  That is my preference.  We were going to use Evelyn Beryl and I doubt you will want to use that middle name, haha but it is one syllable!   It is pronounced like Pearl not Cheryl.

When DD finally gets here her name will be Evelyn Grace.  Don't know if we'll do an official nickname or not - waiting until we see what works!

Love it as a sibling name for Abigail - that was one of my favorites, too!

I really like it, obviously, but the number one response we get when we tell people the name is "Is that a family name?"
