I'd love to hear some answers... I just had a shot of terbutaline Friday to stop contractions, and my contractions stopped (I think), but I have been super crampy and have shooting pains just below my underwear line. My next appointment is Tuesday, but I'm going to call tomorrow anyway.
I guess just follow your gut... if it hurts bad enough to make you think something might be wrong, have the doctor check!
I've been having the same sort of thing today -- achy pains down low. My pregnancy books and the Q&A here seem to indicate that it's normal, just stretching pains. It's not severe and it goes away when I lie down and rest, but otherwise I'd call the midwives. I'll definitely mention it at my next appointment.
From the way you described it it sounds kind of like the pains I was having when I hadn't had enough fluids for the day. I would drink 2-3 glasses of water and lay down with my feet up and it would subside for me. I would try this tonight and take it easy, but still call in the a.m.
Water and rest. If it gets worse or is still there in the morning call the doctor, who knows he might want you to come in. What the nurses tell me if everytime I leave my doctors office 'if something doesnt feel right always call its better to be safe then sorry!"
