My husband & I will be in a one bedroom apartment until the baby is at least 6 months old. How long can a baby sleep in a basinett? We're going to get storage so we have as much room as possible for baby stuff.
Every bassinet is different in weight limits. The pack n play bassinet is only 15 pounds. I don't know about the co-arm sleeper. But regardless, you shouldn't have any problems with a baby in a bassinet up to 4-5 months. We went from the bassinet to the pack-n-play instead of a crib because it was smaller. We also had our son sleep in the stroller bassinet which worked well.
We're still in a 1 bedroom apartment - with an almost 3 year old and now an infant. That has been tougher. Thankfully, we'll only be here a few more months before getting a house.
I think we were fine in a 1 bedroom until our son was 2. The last year has been harder - I think at 2 they should have their own room because of privacy and because they want to climb into the adult bed- which is a terrible habit that we're still trying to break!.
Good luck
3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again
check out the rock and play. It is very popular over on 0-3 & my son loves it more than the crib. Its very space efficient and only 50 bux at BRU. I wish I realized that before I got our crib because I have both in our room. The weight limit is 25lb I think.
