What age for an electric toothbrush?

I was thinking of getting an electric toothbrush for DS. I just think they work better. I can't remember what age DS#1 started using one. Does anyone else's DC use an electric toothbrush yet?

DD has been using them for a long time. I think she was 18 mos when she got her first one, maybe younger.

I think the regular spin ones are fine any age 18 months+. The sonicare ones say ages 4-10.

DD didn't like them at first. She actually started to use it round 23 months

both DS and DD use them.  It helps them to brush their teeth better

we started using them right away - griffin liked them better than a regular toothbrush.

My dentist recommended that my 3 year old get one.  He just turned 3 at the end of July.  I would say the earlier the better, he isn't a huge fan of it now, but would probably liked it more if we started younger.
