We've loved this name since before it got so trendy, but now we're worried.  I see it on tons of name lists, but I don't know if people are actually naming their sons this.  What's your take?  Are there tons of little Olivers out there running around (or about to be)?

It was at #98 last year, and I would say it is definitely on the rise. If that bothers you, I would reconsider. One of my friends just named her baby Oliver earlier this month. I know one other little Oliver IRL, and I can think of at least 3 posters on here I know with little ones named Oliver.

It's on the rise for sure, but I don't think it is super popular.
We love Oliver; it was on our list, too.

I think it seems to be getting more popular, but I don't think I would call it trendy. I think it depends on where you are in the world too because some names might be more popular in certain areas.

Well...Oliver is my pug's name.. so I don't think I could ever take it seriously for a human, but I do love the name (obviously..)  And to be honest I have never met a little boy (or a grown man come to think of it) named Oliver. Then again.. I also don't have any children in elementary school to compare to. I coach at a hs and I am yet to meet one. However with the incredible popularity of the name Olivia, I suppose Oliver is bound to become very popular as well...
