Just curious about everyone's personal taste in wrap, colours etc
I keep lusting after wraps. I'm really drawn to vibrant colours. But I also like how classic some of the neutrals look.
I just find some colour-ways so beautiful, and there doesn't seem to be a theme. I love soft pastel pinks, and multi-coloured tropical colours. I love rich earthy tones, and cool muted pastels.
I think my only rule is that the colours need to suit my complexion and I look like death next to most yellows, and I know some people look really elegant in beige, but I will never be that person.

Re: your taste in wrap/carrier fabric
Oh me too. I think I want to own them just so i can take them out and look at them.

I think it kind of depends on how you dress and how many slings/wraps you expect to purchase.
I have always been a dark clothes wearer, guess my semi-goth/rock style never fully went away. I also really like wearing white, but I dont wear much besides white, black and greys. Sometimes a single pop of color works best with that, however, if you don't plan on having a bunch of slings, going too colorful, or patterned may be look a little silly with outfits that don't coordinate.
I made myself a ring sling out of a linen that has a dark grey or black thread with a lighter whitish thread. it overall looks like a dark grey, but I think the linen looks alittle metallic in some lights so it can take on a blue, gunmetal color too.
Then I also made a deep jewel toned but not forest green wrap(kinda like a deeper version of "the bump" tap on this site.)
I ordered a the paige patterned beco last night, which is black and grey with white flowers. I figured my husband will be able to wear any of the carriers too.
I wonder if people with little girl babies might also be a little more frilly in their pattern choices? I dunno, I probably wouldn't because I am black and gray and like gender neutral things. I occasionally see colors, especially jewel colors that I love, but I tend to not be comfortable standing out too much.
ok so apparently I am bored and carrier colors warrant a lot of info...nerd
I have...um...lots of variety ;-)
But I don't really have any solids - I like my wraps to at least have some sort of pattern to them.

I'm not a huge fan of stripes, but most of my wraps are very vibrant colors, with a few neutrals.
