I just read that only 4% of women get Gestational Diabetes... PHEW! After reading this board, I thought it was more like 50/50. I have my test next week and was freaking out about it, so I am very pleased to hear this news!

    A lot of people fail the one hour and go on to pass the second. I failed my first by a few points but I'd be pretty surprised if I fail the second.I know it can happen to anyone but I just don't think I have it. And, actually, my numbers were below the threshold that a lot of doctors use but my docs use a lower threshold. So you're seeing a lot of people failing the first test that may not actually have GD posting around here.

    So don't stress. Even if you bomb the first one you can still be GD free!
