DH and I agree on so many boys names that I almost never think about them. Granted, we're still only TTC, but I thought I'd ask for some opinions on our top boys names.

I LOVE Hugo (but dh won't let me put it on our list)!!  I also really like Atticus (ahhh, Gregory Peck--sigh).  Not a fan of Titus or Octavian.

I like Lucian the best.  Your list is as long as ours is for girls names   I have to agree with Titus it's nms either.

Dislike: Octavius, Atticus, and Titus

Your name aren't my style at all but these are my opinions.

I like all of you middle names! Great! I actually have Ignatius on our first name list.

My husband wants Ignatius and Amadeus to be on our FN list. I'm not sure yet. I like them, but I don't know if I'm quite brave enough to use them...I could give in on Ignatius, though. Nate would be an easy, "normal" NN.

I'm with you there. I could do Titus and Octavian, but they're definitely not my favorites from the list.

I'm literary and my husband is into history/dead languages. It seems to work out well for our taste in boys' names. Not so when it comes to girls.

NMS: Nigel, Octavian, Xavier

I really like Sullivan!  I have a friend who used this name for her little boy, and she calls him Sully.  He is too cute!

I always loved Lucian but I think it's a bit feminine. Of your list I like Xavier and Titus. Might I suggest based on your other choices:

I like Atticus only if you are a big fan of To Kill a Mockingbird. I also like Marcus and Victor, although I wouldn't use them myself.

I like Amadeus only if you are a big Mozart fan or a big classical music fan.

I have never considered the name Ignatius, but I think I like it.

Honestly, I think your first name choices are "adventurous" enough and wouldn't pair an even more "adventurous" middle name with them. For example, I think Octavian Ignatius is a little much. JMO, of course.
