Today I've had to tell Pepper to be nice to the cat and that yes, our neighbors are allowed to be in their own backyard. I had to remind Toby (cat) that he can not torment Lilly (rabbit) and sit there and stare at her, nor is he allowed to stalk the chickens. I'm chalking all of their behavior up to a weather change, but now I'm rethinking my plans to add more pets. I've been telling Dh we need another dog, a bucket calf and some goats. Oh and I NEED a zedonk.

Eats grass/hay and is cute. That's pretty much it.

OK Kristy, here's what you do. Get DH a zedonk for his birthday. If it's a present, he can't say no. Then, go find a dog you want, adopt it, and leave it in the front yard RIGHT before DH gets up. While you are pouring coffee, look outside and yell, "Oh my gosh! A lost dog! We have to help it!" Bring it in, promise to find it a new home, then forget to find it a new home. Enlist a friend DH hasn't met to call you in crisis with a calf and goats that she has to rehome because her neighbor is threatening to call animal control.
You can thank me later. XOXO
Your a genius. I will have to start plotting how to pull all of this off.

We have 5 acres. Not a ton, but still enough I think.
