Deluxe Kinder Coat with Ergo?

I'm trying to figure out what would be best...something like the Peekaru, or simply a cover or a coat.  I like the idea of the Deluxe Kinder Coat because of the hip carry option.  Does anyone use the coat with an Ergo?  That's what I mainly use...I'd appreciate any advice....TIA!
