Through hoops... Every medicine I need for this fertility process has to be preauthorized. I understand. However, this is for the progesterone. So I dropped it off at CVS on Tuesday, went to pick it up Wednesday afternoon- thinking if there was a problem CVS would have called. Well, it wasn't ready because it needed preauthorization. So I asked the doctor's office about it Thursday and today and they said they sent my insurance company the information they needed. I just called CVS to see if it was ready for pick up and they said that it was still awaiting preauth!! I call the insurance company and they said never got anything from the doctor's office!?! Why? Why is it so hard for people to do their jobs? Luckily, when I was at the office today they gave me some samples to get through the weekend and I can deal with it again on Monday.

That's so annoying.  I'm glad you got some samples to hold you over.

Glad they gave you some samples. My insurance is such a pain with some of my meds, some have to be mail ordered, some can be local. Then last time I needed a prescription to prevent OHSS, which was only a couple pills cvd tried charging me a fortune saying it wasn't covered. So I had to call my insurance company and turns out the cvs girl was entering it wrong.

I'm glad you're able to get what you need for now...hope it isn't too much of a hassle on Monday.  Grrr.
