Flu shots?

Anyone getting a flu shot this year?  I have never had one before, but my company is offering them in 2 weeks and I'm thinking of getting one. If I'm going to do it then I definitely want it before I do IVF (because we know that's definitely going to work).  Also, I'm commuting now on the train and working in a much bigger office so I'm sure that's all going to create a nice cesspool of sickness for me in a few months.

They've always come to my work, and I've gotten one, but last year they didn't come and I didn't get one.  If they come this year, I will.

I plan to within the next few weeks.  They have worked well for me the last several years.

I always get one- I don't have a spleen so I have to get whatever shots I can!

I think I'm going to get one then.  I have to check with the RE nurse first though to confirm.  She told me last week to stop all meds/supplements except for my PNV so I want to make sure this is ok too.

I know I probably should, but I can't bring myself to this year. I got the h1n1 shot just before I lost the twins. I know it most likely wasn't related but it's all I can think of when I think of getting the shot.

I'm so sorry.  I don't blame you at all.  I wouldn't want it in that situation either.

i got one last year for the first time ever.  I think i'll get it again this year just b/c DS is in preschool now and i'm sure he'll be bringing home tons of germs.  He's getting the shot on monday.

Me too. I got the H1N1 and miscarried a few days later. 

FWIW, I got the flu shot as soon as it came out this year (the regular shot has the h1n1 right it in this year). I did, however, wait until I was on my period to get it. Just in case.
