Kokopax carrier

Anyone have one or tried it out?  Pros/cons?  I'm looking for a back carrier for my ginormous DS.  He's 5 months old and pushing 19lbs.  He's getting way too big for the baby bjorn.

Re: Kokopax carrier

  • We have one and we love it!  We use it around the house doing chores and used it a couple of time for short walks and grocery shopping. The carrier itself is super light and super easy to use.  DD is very comfortable in it.  This carrier is however not intended for long hikes.

  • Which one do you have?  I want it for when I'm out with both kids and the stroller isn't an option.  I usually wear DS and put DD in the cart so we wouldn't use it for hiking.

  • We have the Classic one the Bubbles design.  It's ok to use it for hiking as long as it's not a long hike.  It will definitely help you out when you're running errands with both your kids.  DD absolutely LOVES being in it when we go shopping since she's eye level with the rest of the people around here.  Depending on how old your youngest, I put a folded small receiving blanket for her to sit on so she's a little bit higher up the seat and can see better over our shoulders.  I highly recommend this carrier.  We use it a lot especially on days when she's super clingy.  We get stuff done around the house,
