Similac recall?

I pretty much only breastfeed but lo gets one bottle of formula a day. I am so grossed out by the recall. The kind we use Similac organic powder was recalled. I have lost trust in the company now. But now what? Will lo have a problem if I switch too Enfamil? What are you doing?

We bought the liquid as Avery gets 2 formula bottles a day. But I didn't realize you need to use the entire container in 3 days or ditch it. We will never do that. Not sure what to try...

I just switched to a comparable generic brand till everything is sorted out.

We are using Target Up&Up in the blue can.  DS didn't like the taste of Enfamil.

I know it is scary and I bet a lot of moms are going to loose faith in them. So sad because there are a lot of people who have to use formula and it is just so unfortunate. We used Similac Alimentumn up to two weeks ago and switched to Gerber Goodstart Gentle Plus. We did not use the Similac powder, just the ready to feed liquid thank goodness. Maybe look at the Geber Goodstart. DD did not like Enfamil at all nor the generic version at Target.

Enfamil tastes different, Colin hated it.  My pedi recommended Good Start Gentle Plus and he loves it.
