My boss..

So I switched teams and got a new boss two weeks ago. I have a picture of my ultrasound from 26 weeks on my desk. My boss (who just had a baby 4 months ago) asked me if this pic was recent and i told him it was a couple of weeks ago. His response was "Your pregnant right now?" ummm ya dude!

Well today I said something about being 34 weeks and he said your in your third trimester already. DUDE! whats with you?

I don't get it.  Was he stating a fact to you as if you didn't know?  Or was he surprised because you don't look that far along to him?
