Hey ladies! I had an internal this week. I was not dilated, although that really doesn't concern me at all since I have more than 4 weeks to go. Midwife said I was "closed and low." I am curious if my cervix being low is a good thing? Does it even matter? I tried googling and could only find articles about the position of the cervix when trying to conceive.
Not a big deal, but I was just curious. Thanks!
Re: Cervix is low
That's funny you say that. My MW told me my cervix was high. I said "thanks??" hahaha! I asked her what that meant and if that could be a good or bad thing during labor. She told me it doesn't mean anything. If anything, it could help me dialate faster while in labor. I also could not find anything online.
