Anyone ever have a Dum Dum with a chocolate chewy center? (now with PsIP)

You know, one of these:

Please say yes. Otherwise my dum dum had a rat poop in it.

ETA: Picture of offending dum dum. It was strawberry flavored. The inside didn't taste like strawberry. I bit into it, found the chewy gross stuff and tossed it (after taking a picture).

  • I hate to tell you this. But I googled it after I saw you post on FB. No chewy centers... Embarrassed

BUT - what flavor was it? Perhaps it was just an old lollipop and the sugar had pooled into the middle like molasses or something.

  • As soon as I got to the brown part in the middle I threw it away. I assumed it was like a tootsie roll pop - which I don't like.

I tried google also with no luck....just hoping that google was wrong.

'Scuse me while I srub my mouth with soap.

  • I'll be your dum dum.

I'm sure you were like this with your tasty treat until you found an unpleasant surprise inside.  I've never heard of a Dum Dum having a chocolate center, but it's been awhile since I had one, too.

  • A simple Google search revealed that DumDums and Tootsie Roll pops are made by the same manufacturere, most likely in the same factory, hence your dum-dum was a tootsie roll in the wrong packing.  Genius.
  • I'm sorry to say no.

I almost can't respond because I am laughing so hard. You are such a tool.

Well, then your an idiot who doesn't look at the wrapper of what she eats.  I thought you had a Dum-Dum (in a normal) package and hit a chewy center, which would lead one to connect the dots and assume it was a mistake on teh assembly line (ya know, like when you get 5 nerds attached to each other in a pack of nerds?  No pun intended...).  It's hilarious that you boast yourself as a smartie.  When in fact you are what you eat....lmfao

  • Eh - I thought it was a regular Dum Dum. The wrapper actually looks a lot like the regular ones. I really don't see how that is a measure of my intelligence.

Can I expect these lovely swipes at me in all of my threads?

WTF is your problem? So because she thought she had one piece of candy but in fact had another, she's an idiot? Seriously? Do we need to rehash some of your "intelligent" posts so we can all say how dumb you are? Didn't you give Kit shiit for posting "mean" comments in all your posts? Talk about a hypocrite. Why don't you just take your prissy attitude and STFU.

Yes! Another teacher had them in her candy dish the other day. I liked that it was just enough sucker and then a surprise tootsie pop in the middle!
