Nanny share vs daycare?
Does anyone have information about nanny sharing? Where to find information, etc? We live in Canton and will be looking into daycare options or nanny share starting in about June 2011. Thanks!

I have friends who do nanny-shares. For the most part I believe they are set up privately and all of the details are worked out between the families and the nanny, so it can vary greatly.
While not a nanny share, I care for 2 boys in my home 2 days a week- the mom of the boys sent an e-mail to the parents' group we are in and that's how we "found" one another. I know other parents have organized their nanny-share through similar groups. So you might want to look into a Canton/downtown Baltimore parents group- it could be a great resource for you.
