Hey ladies! I haven't been able to read or respond too much lately because of work and a slow connection! I have some catching up to do!
I went to se e an endocrinologist today to get a second opinion of sorts on my PCOS diagnosis. She was WONDERFUL!! So thorough and positive. After going through my whole history and checking me over, she is a bit perplexed by the PCOS diagnosis. So, she ordered a bunch of blood work, which I did today. Next week, i am going to go in for a 2 hour glucose test to check for IR. If all the b/w turns up normal, she is going to give me an MRI to check my pituitary. She wants to figure out the reason I am not ovulating. Hooray! I feel like I won't be such a mystery to myself sometime in the near future! She even said, "maybe we can get you pregnant and it won't cost you so much money." Wouldn't that be great? Totally not getting my hopes up too high for that, though.
OK...on to catch up!! :-)

Re: Regular Endocrinologist
Awesome news!
I'm curious, why was she perplexed by the PCOS diagnosis? Not too many symptoms?
Here's hoping she's right and you get KU without too much intervention!!! =-)
