Not passing a Fetal Non Stress Test?

On Monday, the non stress test I took was considered "not passing." The last two days I have been in and out of the hospital with more test. None of the test are great, but they start as not passing and get a little better. I go to my high risk dr today, but wanted to see if anyone else has ever not passed a fetal non stress test and what happened. I am 34 weeks today.

  • I failed my first one at 35w2d. They sent me to the hospital and did a biophysical profile (BPP) ultrasound and discovered that Baby A's (the one who failed) fluid pocket had dropped significantly in size. The girls were delivered that night via c/s.

  • I've failed multiple times with previous pregnancies usually it resulted in a trip to L&D or just getting a BPP at the office (since my tests are done at the high risk dr).  My second pregnancy though I did finally fail enough that they did an amnio and delivered the next day 37 weeks.
