Just wondering what the result was of your DC's appointment?  I ask...because my DS woke up with a limp this morning as well.  I took him to the pedi this afternoon and he was diagnosed with transient synovitis.  I had never heard of this before (even thought I have a background in pediatric nursing) but apparently it is quite common??  Hope all turned out well for your DC :)

    ::butting in:: My DS was diagnosed with this in July, about 2 weeks after a bad cold, which is apparently a common thing too. I had never heard of anything like it either, and thankfully it passed rather quickly. ::butting out::

    That was me!

    He's going this afternoon.  I did a really thorough check of his legs and hips and I can't see any glaring problems, but it could be something like you describe. 

    What was the treatment for your DS? 

    I'll probably post B's update tomorrow morning.  Thanks for remembering about us.
