How many of you registered for a jogging stroller? Did you also register for a full-size? I've noticed that many of the jogging strollers don't carry infant car seats. The reviews for many of them also talk about how bulky they are, and some are impossible to fit into car trunks.
I ended up just going the whole travel system route (stroller+carseat), but DH REALLY wants a jogging stroller. I was thinking about registering for both (travel system and a jogger), only on separate registries (one at Target, one at BRU).
What did you do?
Re: Jogging Stroller
We got the BOB Rev stroller and love it.
Ditto this. I was looking at registering for a "regular" stroller and a jogger at first, but that seemed ridiculously expensive, and the BOB had everything I wanted anyway, so we went with it.
This...I have heard travel systems are too bulky anyway, so why not go with a more functional stroller.
We had the same dilemma, so we decided to register for a jogger that is also a travel system.
Here's the link to the one we chose at BRU, but I believe Target and Walmart carry this brand too.

Aside from CDs, we put the most research and testing into our stroller decision. We were originally going to go with a jogger because we walk a shell covered path every night. The only thing we could find that would hold up to that kind of daily abuse was a jogger.
I have a snap-n-go for trips out but I *hate* travel systems. I can't stand them- they're big and bulky, don't collapse easily, can't be washed and won't handle any sort of off road travel.
We wanted: air inflated tires (holds up to the shells better and will last longer over all), adjustable handle bar- a full handle bar not hand holds (I'm short and Mr Techie isn't), easily collapsable and light weight (I'm 4'9" and need to be able to lift the thing by myself), the ability to hold an infant up to a toddler, and all cloth pieces need to be removeable and machine washable (in case of dropped food and blow outs). There were probably a few more considerations but I'm tired of listing them, lol.
We went with the Baby Jogger City Elite version. This is technically an "off road" stroller. It's only 21-22 lbs and has a jump strap collapse handle. It has all the features we wanted. It can hold an infant seat and an additional attachment will turn this into a double stroller with a jump seat.
