I want to do a Dr. Seuss theme for DS's bday and I am making the invitations myself. I came across these ones with a cute poem, but obviously some of the words are obstructed. Can anyone help me fill in the blanks?!?
So far I have:
You could not, would not want
to miss a celebration such (as this).
Colin is ONE!
today is his day.
he makes his first (????)
on his first BIRTHDAY.
February is the (month)
and the 20th (is the day)
from 2 to 4 is when (????)
I'm guessing at the parentheses parts. I think the last ??? part is (or could be) "we will play". What would / could the other one be?
Re: Can someone please help me figure out this poem!! PIP
Duh!! Nevermind - I got it! If anyone's interested, here it is!
You could not, would not want
to miss a celebration such as this!
<NAME> is ONE!
today is his day,
he makes his first wish
on his first BIRTHDAY!!
<Month> is the month,
and the <day>th is the day
from 2 to 4 is when we will play.
That's really clever, I like that!
Thanks for sharing! :-)
