I'm torn between what I want to be when I grow up.
I narrowed it down to either going to nursing school (RN with Associate's Degree) or getting my Bachelor's in general studies and going through our alternate route and teaching.
Both would take the same amount of time to complete. I have finished the pre-requisites and would only have to take the 5 nursing courses (one class each semester). I could finish my Bachelor's in the same amount of time.
Both options have their pros and cons, I just really have no clue what I want to do. And of course, DH just says "do what makes you happy".
Re: WWYD?
I'd say nurse...in a heartbeat! I taught middle and high school for 11 years, and it is tough. Often, the students are the least of your problems after dealing with red tape, administration, and BSC parents.
Plus, I think nursing would also be rewarding. Teaching can be, too, but sometimes those moments are few and far between. You couldn't drag me back into a classroom today with a gun to my head!
