Which pump do you use?

The prescription I have for a hospital rental is soon to run out, and I'm faced with either paying cash to continue to rent ($80 per month) or buying a pump. Breastfeeding is going well enough that I think I ought to buy, especially considering we're not done having kids.

I'm pretty sure I'd like a medela, either PIS or freestyle. But I can't decide which. If you love yours, will you tell me why?

Facts that matter: 1) I work at home, so, when I go back to work, occasions when I'll need transportability and discreetness will be relatively rare--random work trips and other things like that. But I do need to be able to go out with it. (Taking my rental out is impossible, and it's gotten in my way a couple times.) 2) I loath pumping, so the faster I can get it over with each time, the better.

I used the Pump In Style. It was the only one I ever used but I liked it. It was pretty small and transportable and has the 'let down' button where sometimes you can get a second let down. I almost got the Freestyle but someone told me that the motor in that one was not as strong due to the size. I don't know though if that has changed. I would recommend the PIS.

I have the PIS. I don't know much about the Freestyle to compare the two. I have been really happy with the PIS and have no complaints.

I had the PIS and it worked great!  It was very easy to travel with, I always took it with me cause you just never know!  I also liked that you could buy the attachement to connect it to your cigarette adaptor in the car.  I would sometimes pump on the way to somewhere, whether I was driving or not.  It was a heck of a way to multitask!
