Diaper sprayers in 2 story house

If you have a 2-story house do you have a diaper sprayer on each level or do you take all poopy diapers to one location to spray off?

We have an inverted floor plan so the nursery will be on the 1st floor with a bathroom off of it and our living room and master is on the 2nd floor. We will have a 2nd changing station set up upstairs and the babies will sleep upstairs for the first few months. I'm not sure how many sprayers to get.

  • We do everything downstairs but BabyBee is sleeping in our room for the time being (nursery upstairs) so we set up the changing station in our room.  The sprayer is in the master bath.  When we move her upstairs, we'll move everything up with her, including the sprayer.

  • If you're BFing you won't need to rinse so I would just install the sprayer downstairs for when she switches to solids.  I know other people have said they don't spray with formula fed babies either, they just start when LO begins eating solids.

  • We have an upside floor plan as well.  We keep the diaper sprayer in the master bath, on the main level, or "upstairs".  When we change her diaper downstairs in her room, we take the dirty diapers upstairs to clean off and put in the main diaper pail.  Our laundry room is upstairs, so all dirty diapers need to go upstairs anyway.  We have a diaper changing area, and we stock clean diapers and cloth wipes, both upstairs and downstairs.
