Security Blankets

Does your LO have a security blanket? Lily sleeps with a crochet blanket my Aunt maed for her, but lately she has been wrapping it around her head. It has large holes in so I'm not worried about her not being able to breathe. But, I still don't like her wrapping her head in it. Would a smaller security blanket be better? I've tried no blanket and she loves to snuggle.

Yes we got one at BRU. It is maybe 12"x12".  He loveesssssss it!

DD has also started putting her blanket over her head when she goes to sleep.

Does she fuss?  Bug hates anything over her face & cries out.  It has only happened once b/c she uses it for snuggles (not to keep warm).  I put it down in the crib first & then lay her down.  She tummy sleeps on top of it or sleeps on her side w/ it under her belly/shoulder while she grabs for a corner.

Ryan has an old crochet blanket (it was my "blankie" when I was little!). He does the same thing, so when we check on him we try to gently steal it away and just move it so it's in his arms or covering him up.
