Where is a good place to have a party when you have a very LARGE family. I can't do it at my home bec it will be too many people. Any ideas? I am in CHICAGO

    Check out Bubbles Academy.  Though I've never been there with DS (we don't live in the city anymore), I interviewed for a job at Bubbles several years ago and it looked like a really great place for kids and parties.

    I would call the park district.  We are in the 'burbs, but rented a room through the park district (we had about 80 people) and the price was very reasonable.

    I too am looking for a location for a winter birthday - did you call the Chicago park district? Were you able to bring in your own food?

    • park district is your bet and you can bring your own food. We rented the field house in Humboldt Park last Jan.
