Is Lolly/Lollie short for anything?

Just wondering.  Figured you ladies here might know.  I've heard the name a few times but never knew if it was short for anything.

My MIL's name is Laura and they called her Lolly when she was little.

Lolly can be short for:

Any of the "lil' names like Lilah, Lillian, Lily, etc.

Laura, Lauren, Lorelai, Laurel

Dolores, Lola, Lolita

Louise, Louisa, Eloise,

Charlotte

Any of the "Lucy" names: Lucille, Lucia, Luciana, Lucinda...

The list goes on and on.

I always thought it was short for Charlotte ... but I think I got that from a Little House book or something.  One of her aunts or grandmother or something was a Charlotte and they called her Lolly
