I was excited for AF to start because I thought I may start charting this cycle and it is taking forever! I'm know I'm not pregnant, I'm just still dealing with weird cycles after stopping BCP in May. Today is CD 39 and I've had cramps on and off for a week. I feel like it is going to start any minute and it never does. I just needed to vent!

I hear you! This one was 41 for me (just off BCP in July), so I went through the exact same thing! I ended up having a huge meltdown yesterday - couldn't go 2 hours without crying all over again. Hang in there!

Lol dang, I couldnt even get my OB to write me a prescription for that when I hit CD 63 last cycle. GL! I know the waiting sucks:(
my doc (and my h's aunt who owns a health food store) recommended I try progesterone cream to regulate my cycles back when I was coming off BCPs (they'd been insane before the BC too). It worked wonders for me in regulating it. I was also on it when I conceived DS, so this month I started using it again. Hoping it helps me a second time
I didn't take her up on it because I felt like it was something I should take to my OBGYN about instead. I didn't know much about progesterone, so I googled it when I got home and saw that a lot of people say to use it after ovulation. A lot of sites said that if you use it at the beginning of your cycle it can prevent you from ovulating. I'm so confused!
Did you wait until after the first trimester to stop using it?
I quit using it once I had my first dr.'s appt--so around 8-9 wks? I have a friend who has PCOS though, and her OB told her to keep taking it up to 34-36 wks or so, I believe.
Wow! At least she was trying to help!
