Ovidrel ?

I'm on my 1st cycle of injectibles and they have me doing the ovidrel shot to ovulate and then again 7 days later.  Has anyone done that before and got pregnant?

Yes, for IUI #2 and #3.  I did my first ovidrel to trigger and the second one is a booster, it's supposed to trick your body into thinking it's pregnant or something like that.  I don't know, some doctors do it, some don't.

One of the girls on here did that and got pregnant, yes.

I haven't done it personally but my RE will do it as a cheaper alternative to Crinone, which is a progesterone supplement.  Without insurance Crinone can be $200+ per month but Ovidrel is $50.  The Ovidrel will cause your body to "naturally" produce progesterone which will give the same effect as taking the supplements.  I hope this helps!

I did this. I took my 2nd shot of Ovidrel last Friday and am suppose to go in for a pregnancy test next Wed if my period does not show up. I am due to start my period tomorrow so we shall see! Hoping for a BFP

My RE says Ovidrel is an HCG hormone so what it does is not only make you ovulate but also build the lining of your uterus so that the fertilized egg attaches easily. Hoping and praying you get a BFP
