Question about Ferber and rolling over

So I'm in the midst of 'ferberizing' my son. It was going really well until 2 nights ago when he decided to start rolling onto his stomach at night. He is now continually waking up pissed off because he's stuck on his belly. Do I rush in to flip him over, do I keep progressively waiting and just flip him over at the scheduled time to check on him? Anyone go through this?

i would say roll him over if you think that's why he's crying, and then go back to the schedule. good luck
