So, I have pumped since DD was 2 weeks old due to latch issues. I had inverted nipples and was using a shield but decided pumping was "easier" than nursing for 15 minutes each side and pumping to develop a supply. I now think I see the error of my ways so to speak and have been thinking more and more about trying to nurse again.
Basically I am looking for some advice about how to proceed. DD takes a bottle great and loves her pacifier so I'm not sure how much success I may have. I am thinking about calling an LC tomorrow but just wondering what advice/ experiences you ladies may have had.
Thanks in advance!
Re: switching from EP to EBF
DS1 was a preemie and couldn't nurse for awhile. I put him to breast before every feeding for about 10 min. It was usually 10 min of me trying to get him to latch, but it eventually worked and I BFed him till 9 months.
Ditto pp's on seeing a LC. She helped me a lot.
