I was diagnosed with this a few months after I delivered my son in 2008. Now that we are expecting #2, this pregnancy is considered more high risk.
We just went in for our 2nd ultrasound and were happy to see the yolk sac today correctly implanted in my 1/2 sized uterus. I'm hoping this means from here on out I can just relax a bit until the end of the pregnancy when the baby starts running out of room.
Anyone else have a uterine anomaly on here?
Re: Unicornuate uterus
I have a unicornuate uterus. There aren't too many of us out there so nice to meet ya! Based on the fact that you already carried one baby, your uterus should be stretched out a bit and better able to accomidate this pregnancy. Good idea to have a high risk dr just in case though.
I am currently pregnant for the first time with twins. I am 19 weeks along. I've known about my UU for almost 5 years now. So far so good, apart from being nervous all the time since I have no idea just how stretchy my half uterus is. I have learned A LOT from a yahoo group for women with UU's. You should check it out
