Postpartum Depression

Who else do you talk to?

about your PPD or PPA issues? DH has been great about everything thus far but he has his own problems he needs to deal with right now and I'm not helping anything right now.  My family is great as well but I'm starting to feel like a broken record.  I don't really feel like calling up my friends and crying to them about it.

I just feel very isolated right now I guess.

Re: Who else do you talk to?

  • I have an aquaintenance that I am becoming close with since we've both had babies at about the same time and we go for walks about two times per week.

I feel the same way. My husband is so stressed with work, I hate bugging him. Plus he just doesn't get it. I know all about the isolation! Feel free to PM me.

  • i go to a therapist once a week.  it helps to have an impartial party to talk to about my issues.  i always feel better when i leave my appointment because i was able to get things off my chest that i could never talk to my husband or family about.
