I was on the pill for 10+ years before TTC without any problems. I experienced some nausea after going off of it and am now having major nausea since I started it. It's the first 1-2 weeks of the month, then I'm okay. Same thing now in the second month. I'm really hoping this is just my body adjusting back to the hormones and it will go away. It freaked me out at first because it felt exactly like pregnancy symptoms - nausea in late afternoon/evening every day... but I've had regular periods and am not pregnant (sigh of relief). Anyone else experience anything like this?
Re: s/o birth control - anyone feel nauseated from the pill?
Yes! I get this the first few days of a new pill pack...but after about 4-5 months of being back on the pill it goes away for me.
I called the nurse one time about it because I too was a little freaked out and she assured me it was normal...if it continued for more than 6 months, they could switch the bc, but mine has always resolved.
Also, it does help if you can take the pill at night rather than in the morning...the nausea will hit while you're sleeping and you won't notice.
That's a really good idea!
