I don't know if they truly "run small", but they certainly fit differently than pampers. I'm thinking pampers my fit better on longer babies (like mine).

This.
We're trying to breeze through a giant box of size 1 Huggies that DS is about to completely outgrow, and I hate them. Pampers are so much better, IMO.

I agree with this.
We're using Huggies right now because they don't sell size 1-2 Pampers without Dry Max at Sam's Club. They're supposed to go up to 15 lbs. DD2 is around 14 lbs and fits much better in size 3 Pampers Baby Dry.

Hmm. DD is long (95th percentile) and the pampers are HUGE on her - we personally hate them and much prefer the Huggies. The huggies do stretch a lot more, but we just put them on tight to start. They work much better for us. I think it's just trial and error. Have 2 big boxes of pampers, so am hoping they work better when I try to use them again. Maybe when DD is a little bigger they will work out.

All the Huggies I have ever bought seem to 'run big' fo rmy LO, I think they stretch a lot more than pampers.
