Okay. So last year this time and for the few years prior to that, I was 70+ pounds heavier than what I am right now. Aside from work clothes and maybe like 2 running suits, I have NOTHING in my wardrobe, I even need new shoes because my feet got smaller. I don't have a lot of money for shopping, so what I do have needs to go a long way. I need recommendations for moderately priced clothing stores (when I was heavy I shopped at Walmart, not happening now) and also, any must have items for this season. And since I'm single, I need some good date outfits. I have no idea what is even *in* fashion these days. I saw a girl last night in a really cute sequin top, but I'm not sure if that is a look that I could pull off. Anyone want to shop for me?
Re: I need serious fashion help
You can't go wrong with trouser jeans - dark.
My wardrobe staples are blanks pants (trousers, if you prefer )
I also have a shiton of button shirts (blouses) and usually will throw a cardigan or a sweater of it.
A belt to give you a waist
Black pumps, boots, and some peep toe shoes
Target's Misses section has so very many cute things and they're not expensive. I love love love Target.
You can get everything you need there, shoes included.
I'm kind of in the same situation, having lost nearly 100 pounds. I recently found some very nice suits at Burlington Coat Factory. They were originally $200 suits, but sold for around $50. BCF can be kind of "hit or miss" though and some of them are pretty trashy. The one near me is really nice though.
I've also been buying basics at Fashion Bug. Not the best quality, but I'm changing sizes so fast I only wear things for one season. They have good selection, and good sales and coupons.
