Started off the cycle with some new things...

So, I called my doctor's office today and asked for my nurse to call me back about some more testing.  When she called back I told her I just didn't understand how the hell I am not KTFU yet!?!  How do you have sex EVERY day for 3 days before Ovulation, Ovulation day, and the day after, without getting KU?  And we've done this for the last 3 cycles!  I know, I know, there are a lot of people that have been trying longer than 4 months, but I thought it couldn't hurt.  ALL of my tests have come back normal, so I figured, why not put DH through some testing.  It takes two to tango!  And if it comes back normal, then great.  She said she agreed, and that this definitely can attribute to infertility.  I'm not saying we have infertility, because it's only been 4 months of trying, and I know I just need to be patient, but since my doctor's office is so open to us doing testing, I thought I would ask.

She just had us stop by the office and we picked up a "kit" and DH was able to give his "deposit" in the comfort of our home and then drive it to the lab right after.  We had to do it today, because he hardly ever has a week day off and they are only open M-F.

And....I know how you were all concerned with my low BBTs    I was too.  DH insisted I do not have a thyroid condition, since it was tested by my OB recently, so I bought a new BBT.  I got one of the ones with 2 decimal points and tested it out and it measures a 1/2 degree warmer than my old BBT, so that's a good thing.

So, boo to new cycle, but yay for more testing and BBT!

Yay for more testing. Hopefully it tells you something you can fix up. If not, it's a total dr google quote, but a healthy 30yo only has a 20% chance each month, even with good timing, so try not to get too discouraged just yet.

I'm totally with you!  I'm doing CD3 testing this cycle and DH is doing a SA.  My doctor is very proactive with the testing too.  She told me if all comes back normal (which she suspects it will since it didn't take us long the 1st time) then she'll have us try on our own for 2 more months before talking about clomid.  I figure it's just better to know sooner if something by chance is "wrong"

Good for you! We did a lot of that testing before we got KU the first time, and I plan on seeing my dr. soon for more if I don't get my BFP this month. (I probably won't get it). I'm sure it will all turn out okay, and that will give you some peace of mind.

We're gonna get our BFPs if it kills us, Shanna!

I hope all test results are good and your bfp is right around the corner.  We're all going to have stubborn little toddlers one day...those spermies just don't wanna play with our eggs.
