Worst toy ever

Moon Dough

DS got to pick out a toy for helping me babysit today. Granted, he is occupied while I work a little (and nest).  But the stuff hardly stays together in the mold, the animals are unrecognizable, and it makes a complete mess!

I think this is worse than the Duck Game.

Consider yourself warned.

  • I was going to agree with you, but then I realized you said Moon Dough and not Moon Sand.  That sand is the devil. I will never buy it again, nor do I hate anyone enough to buy it for their kids.  Talk about a huge mess.

  • Moon Sand is the absolute WORST toy ever.  I saw moon dough but walked right by it thinking it was probably the same as moon sand.

  • I stand corrected.  Moon Sand does sound awful.

Is that the stuff that's like edible play dough?

    I don't think it's edible.....just a Play Doh knock-off.

It's like Playdoh that doesn't dry out.  It's sadistic. Just not right.

  • Moon Sand is right up there with Glitter in my book.  Neither is allowed in my house.
  • Oh my goodness!  I wish I had seen this post earlier!  I bought some moon dough thinking it would be better than moon sand.  I think they are about the same!  Awful!  The commercial is so deceiving!  That junk does not stay together at all.  THE BIGGEST MESS EVER!

Oh, and fyi   I guess it is edible... Logan decided to eat some.  It doesn't say anywhere on the package as to whether it's non-toxic, so I called their CS.  Totally fine to eat.  And he also told me what it doesn't contain (all different kinds of stuff that kids could be allergic to.)  Oh, well.... I sure wish it didn't make such a mess!
