Last year she was a little shy at the beginning and it probably took about 4 weeks of her going to get into it. I am hoping now that she is a year older and one of the older ones in her class it won't take her as long to warm up. And be prepared for pics later!!! I got her a cute little new dance outfit!

One of the reasons that I haven't put DD in anything like that is that the local rec center's classes are only 6 weeks long. That's barely time for my shy kid to warm up!

oh, wow. Yea thats not very long at all. This runs from September to April.

That's awesome. DD had her first class of ballet last night! So far, I think she is the only 3 yr old in the class(the others so far are 4). I can't believe how much they did just for their first day! She did great with the other girls & she absolutely loves dance.

I can't wait to see pictures!

i am jealous of all these dance classes.  we want to start Carson in tball maybe 4.5 or 5.5?
