Infertility

***Patchen***

J -- by the way -- They say the average fert rate of normal mature eggs is about 65-70% -- obviously some have a better rate and other have poorer rates.  With IVF #1 my fert rate was 64% and quality was not great, with IVF #2 it was around 88% and quality was much better, but we still only had 4 good embies, but lagging by day 5 and 1 frozen blast on day 6, so I guess we're right inbetween.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we have some good quality blast by day 5 this time.

When will you be starting stims again?  Do you have to wait for AF and then start stims?  It must be getting close!!!!

Re: ***Patchen***

  • Ok well this sounds promising for you!  And also - I hope I'm not offending you by looking at it this way - you got KU last cycle even w/ embies that weren't blasts by day 5 so these one - which will be better - I think will def do the trick!

I start stims w/ my next AF - so maybe around a week and a half from now.  I'm partially excited, partially scared sh*tless out of my mind going crazy, haha, you know how it goes!

  • I totally know what you mean.  That's what the RE and nurses keep saying to me, that if it hadn't been ectopic that it most likely would have been a viable pregnancy, so I'm hoping that's a good thing,  Keeping everything crossed that we have great embies ...

I totally understand being scared sh*tless.  I actually was more nervous, anxious, and scared out of my mind yesterday than I was with any other ER.  I guess it's because I want this to be the last go with IVF ... I couldn't believe how anxious I was .... with the other two I was perfectly calm and collected.  Oy vey!

I'll be rooting for you when AF arrives.  I can't wait for you to get your BFP!!  I am positive this co-culture is going to make a difference!  Fingers crossed...
