Lutheran General OB Recs

Hello!

I put a post on here a few weeks ago trying to decide between CDH and Lutheran General. Due to location we picked Lutheran General. Now I need to find a good doctor/practice? Does anyone have someone that they like that delivers at Lutheran General.

I went to Women's Health First. They have offices in Schaumburg, Buffalo Grove and Hoffman Estates. They were very nice. They deliver at Lutheran General. I ended up not finishing my pregnancy with this medical group or hospital due to a change in insurance mid-pregnancy.

I delivered my twins at Lutheran General, and Dr. Pesch was my OB - he was awesome, but unfortunately, he's leaving at the end of September.  I'm now seeing Dr. Rim at the practice, and I like her a lot.  She was pretty much my secondary OB during my pregnancy, and the couple times I was in the hospital for pre-term labor she was the on-call OB and was great.  I feel really comfortable with her. 

Pretty much all of the OBs in Dr. Pesch's practice are great - I saw all of them at one time or another since I was there A LOT and admitted to the hospital a couple times!

I highly recommend the Midwest Center for Womens Health.  They have a couple office locations.  They have 6 or 7 OB's there you can choose from.  I love all of them but have my favorites.  Dr. Nash and Dr. Jahidi are really great. I go to their office at Lutheran General and the nurses and staff there are very nice as well!

I also go to the Midwest Center for Women's Health but prefer Dr. Lopata.  I personally do not like Dr. Nash along with a couple other of the OB's in the group, but haven't found another group that I like better.  GL!!

i delivered my first at LGH and will be delivering my second there again.  My doctor's office Midwest for Womens Clinic in Park Ridge, IL they just moved to Northwest Highway.  My doctor is Dr. Grabner and I really like him alot and all the doctors at the practice.  The Dr. that delivered my dtr is no longer there.  It's been 8 years since my 1st and i know the hospital has a new maternity ward since when i was there.  But, i had a great experience back then and know that it is a great hospital and will am hopeful it will be the same this time.  Has anyone delivered there recently? I've delivered both my kids at Lutheran and used my OB as a gyne for about 6 years before I got pregnant with my first.

My practice is Associates in OBGYN.  Their offices are right in the Parkside building which is super convenient.  There are now 4 docs in the practice, all women, which I prefer. 

Dr. Rebecca Weber delivered my daughter and Dr. Maureen Carson delivered my son, but I've seen all 4 docs and really like all of them.  Dr. Weber was my gyno and the only doc I saw up until halfway through my first pregnancy. 

I just had my DS in February, so was in the new wing and it's very nice.  Labor and Delivery is still in the old wing though.  The rooms are much better than the old ones, espcially since they're all private and I've always been pleased with the staff.

Thanks for the feedback! Shell24 I actually went to Associates in OBGYN. I saw Dr. Sophia Chin. I like that you get to see all 4 doctor's throughout your pregnancy and that way you know them all since one of them will end up delivering you baby. I also like that they are all women. I am going to schedule a tour of the maternity wing at LG so I can get a feel for what it is like there. I was pretty determined to go to Central Dupage (which is the hospital I grew up with and love) but it is way too far from my house. I am glad I tried Associated in OBGYN. Thank you again for all the suggestions!
