Pain After D&C

I had a D&C on Friday (the 10th) and was able to move around and get back to normal pretty quickly, without much bleeding/cramping...... until today. 

I've had this sharp, stabbing pain in my uterus almost all day and my pad is soaked with brown goo (sorry TMI).  Has this happened to anyone?  I thought the worst was over...

I'm no doctor...but, that sounds a little strange to me...I would call your OB/GYN

i had sharp pains too..your uterus is contracting so i think that is normal and probably the brown stuff is just afterward bleeding and discharge.  Pains should go away pretty soon, after a week and half after mine i still had a sharp pain here and there

I think that brown is usually a sign of old blood, so maybe you had some bleeding lingering in the cervix or something that finally passed today.  I would still call your doctor though, just to make sure.

I had mine on 9/10 too.  Yesterday I also had cramping start up again and soaked a pad with red blood, but it didn't last long.  I'm hoping that's the end of it.  Brown goo to me sounds like old blood and mucous from the lining.  Pretty normal after a PG, but it can't hurt to call and ask.
