F/U: RE: eyesight question for my nephew

He saw another specialist yesterday.  My sil fell in love with this doc and he does have a slight astigmitism and needs glasses.  He has to wear them 40-75% of the time and hopefully he will be out of glasses by the time he is 2.5  - he is 11 months right now.  She is bummed but I tried to give her tons of positive feedback, especially that they caught it early.  I actually can't wait to see him in his specs, he is going to look ADORABLE!!!!!!!

Anyway, thanks for everyone's feedback a few weeks ago.  I know she appreciated it and made her look further into the whole situation.  It's really nice to know that we have these boards to help educate eachother on these types of things.  Thanks again ladies!!!

oh thats so great that they caught it so eraly and may actually be corrected by wearing the glasses. i am sure he will look super cute. good luck to your sil and nephew... its been 6 months for us with glasses and its still an adjustment, but its getting easier! : )
