Is there one specific to this board? My plan is prefolds and covers, just placing the prefolds into Thirsties covers (the one with the flap u tuck the PF into.) Not doing any wrapping on the baby like some cd sites show, kwim? This method worked for family members with no leaks or issues. But I also am curious as to what others are planning. When someone posts a "rate my stash" I would love to know what some of the letters mean. Sometimes, I know what they stand for (AIO=All-in-One) but I don't know what that really means vs. what I am going to do. I mean, what are the advantages of these AIOs, KLPs or whatever.

I found this website awesome...

Thats every type of cloth diaper out there, basically.
I'm new to this whole thing too : ) so I may not be of much help. But the ladies on this board are super awesome and helpful. I am addicted to this board right now (and I haven't even started cloth yet).
I think a lot of people abbreviate kissaluvs fitted size "0" as kl0's. Many seem to love this fitted diaper for the newborn stage. I have 5 in my newborn stash, along with 24 prefolds, 5 AIO's plus all of the covers I should need. Then I have several different brands of One size pocket diapers for when baby gets bigger. I'll be seeing what works best for us before I order any more.
The other abbreviations are all in the links that a previous poster mentioned.
I put up a post last week so the Bump gods could put an FAQ at the top of the board, but it hasn't happened yet Hopefully soon.
In the meantime, just ask your questions and someone will answer it no problem.
AIO = all in one, which is basically an absorbent CD layer with a waterproof cover all in one diaper. Some people like them over PFs and covers because they're more convenient and more like disposables, so relatives, DHs, daycare centers, etc. aren't as intimidated. They tend to take a while to dry, however, so a lot of people use pocket diapers instead. Those are much like AIOs, but the inner layer is fairly thin and there's an opening at one end of the diaper to add inserts to increase absorbency to your taste.
HTH.
