Cloth diapers? I actually really want to use them...but there are so many different one's how will i know how to choose. Is anyone using them that could give me a few tips and tricks. Thanks
We did with DS and we will again with this baby. I've actually started building onto a new stash. It can be confusing at first but just lurking on the cloth diapering board and reading on some different sites will have you feeling much more comfortable before you know it. There are places where you can get a sample pack of different types of diapers before making any big decisions and I think that would be really helpful.

I was toying around with the idea and have been reading up on some things on the Cloth Diaper board. Now that we found out it's twins, I think it's going to be in our best interest financially to go with cloth. I know the upfront cost can be spendy, but buying disposable dipes for 2 would be killer!
I tried with my first DD and swore never again. How ever they have improved on the way they are made and are more friendlier then the old fashioned type I used. My neice uses them and I will be talking to her more about them once we announce the pregnancy to family.
I plan on using them. There are so many different types out there, it can be quite overwhelming. I also check out the cloth diapering board to see what people recommend etc.

Thanks everyone..i never even noticed there was a board for cloth diapering..lol. It is def. like another language but I'm determined to save money and i think there so cute! I'm also so glad my husband is willing to learn with me instead of the easy disposable diaper easy method.

A friend of mine pointed out the site for "g diapers" and I think we're going to check this out. It's pretty sweet. You start out with a starter kit (it's sorta expensive to get started) but you get a cloth diaper that has disposable inserts in it that are changeable. So the cover stays the same but the inserts get changed when wet. i guess it's a lot less waste and seems much easier than the entire cloth diaper situation... Im difinitly going to check into it for us. But it's https://www.gdiapers.com/shop/on-sale?gclid=CLKGxa3phaQCFR9Pgwodg2zyIQ for anyone interested in looking!
I'm taking the plunge! I've tried about 8 brands with my son (borrowed from a friend) and NONE fit him on the leg holes. He has always been very skinny. I gave up. My SIL then had twins in May and is CDing now. I'm also expecting twins now and I think it's in my best interest in the long run! They are called Softbums. They are a one size diaper, meaning one diaper fits a baby from 5lbs to 35lbs. It works on a draw string type system and as you pull the drawstring you can adjust the diaper through the leg holes and all the way around for a perfect fit. Her babies were premies and she's been using them since they were a month old. I borrowed some and they fit my 19 month old fine (at 22 lbs). I think I'm going to go for it! Also, you can register for them and get them as gifts. There are also some sites where you can purchase a TRIAL of several brands. That's a great idea too.
I have been thinking really hard about it. I plan on having in home (my home) day care when I go back to work and I am hoping that I can find someone who will jump on my band wagon.
I have also been lurking on the cloth diaper board and find it pretty confusing. I need to find someone who will show me how it's done!
My cousin is using Bum Genius cloth dipers and she LOVES them. She says they are the most expensive one out there cuz she paid $400 for her stock, but says they are totally worth it. She said they fit babies from 8lbs to 35lbs so it will get her through potty training. She has been using them for 12 months and she said they paid for themselves in about 10 months. I think I am going to try these. She says to go to www.Bumgenius.com for all the options that the company has. I hope that helps. (I have not went to the site yet.) Good luck!

You can read more on their site www.softbums.com
The cheapest I've found them are on https://www.peapods.com/
