Baby Depot at Burlington and Babies R Us. Baby Depot had pretty much the same stuff as BRU but I found their prices to be a little cheaper. Many of my big ticket items though were only at BRU so that is why I registered there too. Hope that helps!

Target and Wal-Mart definitely, because they're located where my family members are located. I wouldn't want them to drive out of their ways to find a baby store. However, a few live near a Babies R Us, so I may add a few things on a registry there for those people.

I am definitely going to register at Target and I have also been looking at stuff from Bed Bath and Beyond just because I like that they always have 20% off coupons people could use. I have looked at Babys R Us and while they have them where I live now they don't have any in my hometown where most of my family lives so I have been leaning away from it. One of my good friends who is due in January just registered at Burlington Coat Factory.
I'm going to register at Babies R Us. I hope it doesn't bite me in the rear because MH's family sometimes complains about having to drive there (the closest is about 30 min. away).
I never have any luck buying things off a Wal-Mart registry. They never seem to have anything in store. Maybe if I was able to purchase from the same store where the mom registered it would be ok, but that's never been the case for me.
I am probably going to do Target and Amazon.com. We don't have a BRU nearby and I've found their prices and shipping online to be more expensive than Amazon.com. Same with Target, but at least we have a Target nearby.
I anticipate that most of our family gifts will come from Amazon.com and most of our local friends' gifts will come from Target.
I already started registries on BabiesRUs and Target - NOT that I want anyone to get us anything any time soon, but because I keep forgetting what it is that I would need, or what people have recommended we get.
I'm not doing BRU b/c they aren't that convenient and I think their prices are laughable. Not that I don't mind buying or receiving expensive stuff, but I find you can get the same product for about 20% less elsewhere.

We only registered at BRU because they have everything and I didn't feel like running all over town creating a registry. They are a little bit pricier than say, Walmart, or Burlington, but it was a one stop shop for me.
October 2012: Missed Miscarriage, Baby with no heartbeat, stopped growing after 7 wks
For DD, we registered at Babies R Us for all of our main gear - mostly because it offered the best selection. We also had a small registry at Target because for some of the people that were attending the shower, BRU was like a 45 min drive and I thought it would be good to give people options.

I hate Target's return policy, so they're out.

I'm planning on registering at BRU. Would have registered at 'Tarjay', but am currently boycotting them (I also don't like their return policy).
May have to check out Burlington (hadn't heard of that before - thanks!).

I registered at Buy Buy Baby, WalMart, and BRU.
1. Buy Buy Baby-because they are the only ones who have the furniture that I want
2. Walmart-because they are everywhere and some of my family has no other option.
3. BRU-because they have the most awesome selection and the best return policy!
I hope this helps!
Target and Land of Nod.

1. Babies R Us - because it is all over the country
2. Buy Buy Baby - because it is close to me and I like their stuff better than BRU
3. Pottery Barn Kids - mostly for the completion discount.
